I spent years making direct cash offers on houses. I understand why sellers like them: they can be fast, simple and as-is.
But I also saw the other side of the business and too often, the seller paid the price. That’s why I built 14days.

Licensed Arizona real estate broker
An entire real-estate education industry teaches aspiring investors how to control properties, create spreads and build wealth through wholesaling and contract-assignment strategies. There is nothing wrong with investing or earning a profit. What I have a problem with is what too often happens to the seller.
Quick closings promised to sellers that turned into weeks of waiting while the wholesaler searched for another buyer.
Sellers pressured to lower their price after they had already committed and made plans around the sale.
Successful closings where the homeowner never knew another buyer ultimately paid substantially more and the wholesaler kept the difference.
A seller can accept an offer and think the hard part is over. But once you sign a contract, you have made a real commitment to sell.
The buyer may still have inspection, financing, cancellation or other rights buried in contract language that are easy to miss. Those provisions can give the buyer a way to cancel or leverage to come back later and ask for a lower price.
The time to understand those terms is before you sign not after, when the buyer controls the deal.
Today, there is no reason a homeowner should have to rely on one buyer’s offer just to get a simple sale. The technology, data and buyer relationships now exist to reach different buyers quickly.
You should not have to repair or prepare the property just to find out what buyers are willing to do.
Timing, belongings and other practical needs can be part of the deal instead of problems you have to solve first.
Landlords, contractors, investors, neighbors and other buyers can value the same property differently.
14days is a licensed brokerage representing the seller not another company trying to buy the property.
Real estate has been very good to me and my family.
For years, I built and operated The Trusted Home Buyer, a direct home-buying company. I’m proud of the business we built and the way we treated sellers. We worked hard to make the process simple, solve problems, do what we said we would do, and get people to closing with as few surprises as possible.
With 14days, I wanted to bring that same standard of service to a structure built around the seller.
As a professional buyer, we had to buy at a price that worked for our business. With 14days, we sit on the seller’s side of the table. We find the buyers, compare their offers, and give the seller more control and a better opportunity to keep more of their equity.
We also built the process around clear terms, proof of funds, visible contingencies and a defined path to closing.
We can’t control every buyer, so we built a process that expects more from them.
That is the business we built.
See Martin discuss the thinking behind 14days in his own words in a Channel 3 TV interview on Arizona’s Family and why his years on the buyer side convinced him there was a better way to serve sellers.
You don’t have to know the right way to sell before you call. That’s what the conversation is for.
You’ve spent years building the equity. Give yourself 14 days to see what buyers are willing to do.
